Users can choose from iconic machines such as McLaren and Lamborghini, or film-inspired vehicles like the Batmobile. The possibilities are virtually endless, and if you have a dream car in mind, it’s probably already available in the game or soon will be. Today will be actually taking a look at one such car in hopes of answering the big question: can you drive a Jeep in Rocket League?
Why Was the Jeep Wrangler Available in Rocket League?
Spoiler alert: yes, you can drive a Jeep in Rocket League and it is none other than the iconic Jeep Wrangler.
But how did this car even become available in the game?
Rocket League is known for the many different collaborations they’ve made over the years. They’ve partnered with iconic brands such as Lamborghini, Hot Wheels, and McLaren, all in hopes of combining the most iconic cars with the most iconic game about cars. That said, in 2018, Epic Games, which is the creator of RL, came up with the idea of a brand new partnership, namely Jurassic Park.
We assume that most of you have already had the opportunity to watch Jurassic Park (or at least one of them). If so, you probably know that the first films are always associated with one particular car, and that is the Jeep Wrangler. Well, this powerful off-road machine, accompanied the heroes of the series both when they traveled through the dinosaur-filled park and when they tried to escape from it. That’s why when the RL developers wanted to do a collaboration with this legendary film franchise, they decided it was the perfect vehicle to add to the game.
What Is the Jurassic World Car Pack DLC?
To start with, it should be noted that Rocket League’s collaboration with the Jurassic Park franchise has had several iterations, the first of which came in 2018 as part of the promotional campaign for the new movie Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. In early June of that year, Epic Games announced that a special The Jurassic World Car Pack DLC would go on sale on the 18th. It was priced at $1.99.
What Did the Jurassic World Car Pack DLC Include?
The DLC Pack released in 2018 included various dinosaur-themed customization items, including the infamous Jeep Wrangler. Here are its exact contents:

As you can see, its content was really impressive, especially considering the relatively low price. Also, as is usually the case with such special collaborations, the contents of the DLC package cannot be combined with anything outside the set.

What Is the Jurassic World Car Pack DLC?
In 2021, to the surprise of all Jurassic Park fans, Epic Games has decided to make a big return of this legendary film franchise to Rocket League. The developer announced that the DLC pack items would again be available in the Item Shop for a limited period of time, namely from July 22, 2021, to July 28, 2021. The price of such a bundle was 1,100 credits and it was released at the end of the Summer Road Trip event.
What Did the Jurassic World Bundle Include?
The contents of the bundle were pretty much the exact same as the contents of the DLC, namely:

- Jurassic Park and Jurassic World Player Banners

Unfortunately, if we compare the prices of the two add-ons, the first one was definitely more cost-effective. After all, for the price of $1.99 we were getting as much as we later got for the price of about $11 (when converting the number of credits into currency). However, the plus side of the second collaboration was that this time you could buy the T rex and the Jeep separately.

Can You Still Get the Jeep Wrangler in Rocket League?
The Jeep Wrangler not only looks great, but is also equipped with an Octane hitbox, making it perform exceptionally well in the arena. As a car body, it quickly became a fan favorite, and people found it hard to get over the fact that it was part of a limited offering. Although it is true that the 2021 pack briefly returned to the Item Store in 2022, it has not reappeared on the market since then. Unfortunately, it also can’t be bought anywhere else or obtained through trading. The only thing left for anyone who wasn’t lucky enough to add it to their collection in earlier years is to wait for Epic Games to bring it back.
